Pooja Kishnani

I am an artist, visual storyteller and participatory video facilitator. I have 17 years of experience working in development and was previously with Oxfam, where I designed and implemented strategies for global programmes on using participatory media such as photography and video as a tool for advocacy and measuring change.

My passion is working on rights, especially women’s rights and LGBTQI. The right to be heard, celebrated and portrayed as they choose to be. I also work on projects that use PV for measuring change using the most significant change method. It is always such a rich and inclusive story of change.

I have worked on projects supporting grassroots movements, local civil society, as well as INGOs and UN agencies to design and facilitate creative ways for communities to share their stories of change and create new narratives to humanise themes around gender equality and human rights.
